The links actually work and will take you to that particular item. Also, another amazing feature ... Notice on the left, the letters "G"; "I"; "N". G, is for Google; I is for Google Images and N is for Google News. Each one is a link to the latest Trend.
This is a great way to drive traffic to a blog. Find the latest trend and use the G I N in your blog and then ping it (I use http://pingomatic.com and http:pingoat.com)
You can also generate some of the web2.0 sites like Hubpages.com and Squidoo to link back to your blog. But the most permanent way is to write some articles using G I N as a starting point and besure to anchor text each article.
This system is Free and can be ramped up to generate alot of traffic to your site or your blog especially if you work hard and do it every day. And hopefully you have your blog monetized enough to make a bit of money.
